Perfect Fog
The San Francisco summer is in full swing and that means freezing cold temperatures coming in from the Pacific ocean, creating a marine layer and resulting in some gorgeous fog. Photographing the Golden Gate Bridge enveloped in fog can be tricky. Often, the bridge is completely invisible for hours on end. But conditions can change very quickly. Yesterday, I was lucky to be at Fort Point at just the right time, with perfect conditions for about 30 minutes before the fog became too dense. The three images below were made during that 30-minute window.
